ONLINE, August 29, 2020 — A select group of growth-oriented women-owned businesses in Singapore attended Moody’s Foundation and WEConnect International free virtual capacity building program. The two-day bootcamp covered how to build creditworthiness, determining capital requirements and preparing to be due-diligence ready.
With detailed information on what lenders look for in accounting systems, attendees learned the details of producing financial statements showing income and a balance sheet. Moreover, participants learned how to further build out their capital plan and identify ways to increase their creditworthiness to increase their ability to attract cash into their business. And finally, the event wrapped up with a session on helping business owners identify the steps they need to take to prepare their companies to receive capital in any form, as well as specifics on how and what resources are available to become due-diligence-ready.
