SEAB ENERGY APPOINTS SENIOR CIVIL SERVANT TO ITS ADVISORY BOARD

(April 19, 2016) Southampton-based SEaB Energy, a WEConnect International certified women-owned business and a pioneering developer of patented technology that turns waste into energy, has announced the addition of Philip Ward, to its advisory board. Philip’s previous experience as a director in the Department of the Environment saw him directly involved with the Energy Savings Trust and the establishment of the Carbon Trust, and the Waste and Resources Action Programme (WRAP).

After leaving his role at the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, Philip served as a director of WRAP, spearheading the introduction of separate food waste collections at local authority level and leading its packaging waste prevention programme for the retail sector.

Announcing the news at its manufacturing facility, Sandra Sassow, CEO of SEaB Energy, said:
