EVENT WRAP-UP: WORKSHOP FOR WALMART-WEDP PARTICIPANTS, DELHI, AUGUST 3, 2016

The Women Entrepreneurship Development Program (WEDP) is an initiative of WEConnect International in India corporate member Walmart India which was launched in April 2016. WEDP is aimed at equipping women with professional and life skills to build robust enterprises for women business owners in order to enhance their skills, capability and sustainability. As part of the program, WEConnect International in India and Walmart organized a workshop for participants in Delhi. The workshop covered the following topics:

• Importance of Credit Rating for SSIs/SMEs- by Gautam Verma, CRISIL
• Government Schemes (MSME, DC-MSME, NEISBUD, Other financial schemes) for women entrepreneurs
• WEConnect Certification- by Shalil Mistry and Amit Phull
