ONLINE, April 15, 2020 — Procter & Gamble and partner WEConnect International, launched the 2020 edition of the Singapore Women Entrepreneurs Development Program (WEDP) online due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The online kick-off ceremony was graced by Dr. Lei Hsien-Hsien, the recently appointed and first female Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore.
Led by P&G experts and external partners, including Enterprise Singapore, the 23 women entrepreneurs from the 2020 cohort were trained on how to further develop their capabilities and help them grow their businesses. The 10-module curriculum covered a wide breadth of business development topics such as growth strategies, business operations, company branding, sales, communications and leadership skills, human resources and supplier relationship management.
