OVER EIGHTY MATCHMAKER MEETINGS TAKE PLACE AT WECONNECT INTERNATIONAL’S ANNUAL EUROPE CONFERENCE IN OCTOBER

The WEConnect International Europe Conference took place on October 11 and 12, 2017 in London, United Kingdom. With 170 attendees over the course of two days, the program focused on topics such as inspiring women in leadership, trends in small and medium enterprises, and doing business with corporations as a small business.

Speakers at the event were from diverse backgrounds and included many from certified Women Business Enterprises (WBEs), experts on leadership, supplier diversity, and procurement, plus speakers from the women’s economic empowerment.

One of the highlights of the event was over 80 matchmaker meetings that took place between 98 WEConnect International certified women’s business enterprises and 64 corporate representatives. This unique opportunity to have one on one meetings happens at many regional WEConnect International events, and attendees consistently rank it as one of the top reasons to attend.
