Michael Tobolski

As the Vice President of Corporate Relations & Member Engagement for WEConnect International, Michael Tobolski’s focus is member development,  engagement and support.

His prior corporate experience includes working as Sr. Director of Supplier Diversity at Marriott International, where he developed Marriott’s formal supplier program and began the global supplier diversity journey. Other positions with Marriott included Hotel Controller, Director of Purchasing and Food & Beverage Director. Michael also worked at Walt Disney World, where he oversaw Food & Beverage operations in several of the resort hotels.

As an entrepreneur, Michael also co-founded and operated several businesses including a three-restaurant company in Northern Virginia.

Dedicated to community service, he has served as Chair of the Board of the Capital Region Minority Supplier Development Council, Chair of the National Minority Supplier Development Council’s Hospitality Industry Group, and was an active member of the procurement committees for the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce. Michael currently resides in Maryland with his wife Christine.
