(November 15, 2017) A Meet the Member with Intel was held in the city of San Jose, Costa Rica. It was a private event for 14 women-owned businesses at Intel facilities. An agenda, carefully designed by the Intel team, started with a warm welcome from Karla Mora, President of the Diversity and Inclusion Board at Intel, who focused on explaining their initiatives and the importance of these programs within the company, followed by an outstanding Customer Service conference by Mauricio Gómez, Operations and Services Manager.
Then, some of the entrepreneurs had the opportunity to exhibit and sell their products to the employees, reaching more than U$600 in less than an hour. At the end of the meeting, 27 one-on-one sessions designed to establish business relationships and explore new opportunities were coordinated between the women-owned businesses, Intel’s procurement department and second-tier suppliers.

(Noviembre 15, 2017) Intel abrió sus puertas en la ciudad de San José de Costa Rica para ofrecer un Meet the Memberexcepcional a 14 empresarias de WEConnect International. La agenda fue preparada por el mismo equipo de Intel, la cual comenzó con una calurosa bienvenida de Karla Mora, presidenta de la Junta de Diversidad e Inclusión, quien se enfocó en explicar a las empresarias las actividades que realizan y la importancia que tienen estos programas al interior de la compañía. La mañana cerró con una destacada charla de Mauricio Gómez, Gerente de Operaciones y Servicios de Intel, y una EXPO para los empleados donde algunas empresarias pudieron exhibir sus productos logrando vender más de U$600 en menos de una hora. Al finalizar el evento se lograron 27 sesiones uno a uno entre las empresarias, representantes del departamento de compras y proveedores de Intel quienes también fueron invitados para establecer relaciones y explorar nuevas oportunidades de negocio.
