WEConnect International is the leading supplier diversity initiative spearheading the connection of women entrepreneurs to multinational corporations and European government bodies. Our mission is to ensure that majority women-owned businesses (51%+) are given fair and equal access to corporate and public sector procurement bids locally, nationally and internationally.
We educate corporate and government agencies throughout Europe about how they benefit from the diversity, innovation and brand value-add that women-owned businesses bring. Our work is about access to contracts; it is not about preferential treatment.
Everything we do at WEConnect International in Europe aims to help women business owners grow and succeed and to inspire member buyers to further develop their supplier diversity initiatives. We provide frequent networking and connection events between our women business owners and representatives from WEConnect International’s member buyers.
By working together, we are creating a business world where all women-owned businesses have equal opportunity across the value chain, including the opportunity to access new markets and to succeed globally.
A diverse supplier base is no longer an option – it is a business imperative. WEConnect International is here to create a fair chance for European women-owned businesses to participate in the global supplier market – so, if you are interested in finding out more, please get in touch with the team!
We have recorded a series of Procurement Insight Sessions with six of our member buyers: Barilla, GSK, Goldman Sachs, IBM, Intel and Kellogg’s. These sessions provide an overview of how procurement works within these firms; their expectations of potential suppliers; what suppliers should be ready for if participating in a tender process with them and clear insight into what these firms do (and don’t) buy. Learn more by listening to these recordings from our members.
