“Signing this agreement with FCEM World President, Laura Frati Gucci, will help to expand the WEConnect International network into the seventy countries represented by FCEM. And members of the FCEM network will have better access to WEConnect International members seeking women business owners that want to compete for corporate contracts,” according to Elizabeth A. Vazquez, CEO and Co-Founder, WEConnect International.
On September 28, Gucci and Vazquez will speak at the World Congress, along with Dr. Angela Merkel, Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany; Dilek Kolat, Berlin State Senator for Labour, Integration and Women; Georg Fahrenschon, President of the Deutschen Sparkassen- und Giroverband; and other notable global leaders.
WEConnect International is the first non-profit organization that registers and certifies women-owned businesses outside of the U.S. and connects them with multinational corporations interested in tapping women suppliers to produce relevant, innovative products and services. With the success of each certified women-owned business, entering the global supply chain becomes a little easier for the next.
