WEConnect International Announces New Collaboration with Entrepreneurs’ Organization to promote and support Women-Owned Entrepreneurs

Washington DC, October 4, 2021—WEConnect International announced a collaboration with Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) to promote and support successful growth-oriented women-owned businesses. Both organizations will join forces for the purpose of opening potential new opportunities with women entrepreneurs worldwide.

Since 1987, EO has been helping entrepreneurs achieve transformational growth. Their member network is committed to learning and helping each other succeed. Through their high-quality support network of 15,000+ like-minded leaders across 61 countries, EO helps entrepreneurs achieve their full potential through the power of life-enhancing connections, shared experiences and collaborative learning.

WEConnect International helps drive money into the hands of women business owners by enabling them to compete in the global marketplace. WEConnect International breaks down the barriers that prevent women business owners from connecting to each other and to new market opportunities with local and global member buyers. The collaboration between WEConnect International and EO will strengthen and expand the reach available to our networks of women-owned entrepreneurs.

“Women’s economic empowerment has never been more important than it is today,” said Elizabeth A. Vazquez, CEO and Co-Founder of WEConnect International. “We are excited to work with Entrepreneurs Organization to expand access for women-owned businesses seeking connections that can help accelerate their growth.”

Over the next year, women business owners in these networks can expect to receive more information on the benefits of joining WEConnect International and EO and to learn from women business leaders who’ve leveraged connections in both communities to propel their growth to new heights. The teams will work together to offer informational and educational webinars in high growth regions of the world, specifically targeting women-owned businesses with annual sales of over one million dollars that are seeking new business development opportunities as well as a transformational community where business performance and personal advancement can be gained.

Carrie Santos, Chief Executive of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization, said, “The Entrepreneurs’ Organization exists to support business owners – and we are excited to be able to provide more specialized support for women in business through our partnership with WEConnect International. Female entrepreneurship continues to rise – growing by 114% over the past 20 years – but we can do more to encourage more women who have started their own businesses. EO is committed to helping our women members succeed personally, professionally and within their communities. We look forward to how much further we can go with WEConnect International.”

High growth certified women-owned businesses have unique needs beyond procurement connections that WEConnect International believes will be well served through this close collaboration with EO and their complimentary services. Both organizations are committed to raising awareness of the expanded opportunities available to women businesses owners because of this important collaboration.
