(March 29, 2016) Staff at Perfect Service Solutions, a WEConnect International women-owned business, are celebrating after scooping a top business award.
The Stirling firm – which provides specialist cleaning services – has been named Best Small Business 2016 in the third annual Forth Valley Chamber of the Commerce Awards.
Managing director Simone Hart Sibbald was delighted to receive the honour during a ceremony at the Hilton Hotel in Dunblane. She said:
“We’re absolutely thrilled with the Award which is a great public recognition of the work carried out by the whole team. It’s a real tribute to the hard work and dedication of all staff members, whatever role they play in the company, and it shows we are going in the right direction and making a good impression among the business community. It was a tough category against two other well-established companies and I’m so proud that we were able to take home the trophy. One of the judges said it was our enthusiasm and passion for what we do that shone through and helped us to win which was lovely to hear.”
It was the first time the firm, which this year celebrated its 10th anniversary, had entered the annual awards. Three finalists were shortlisted in the Best Small Business category and Perfect Service Solutions faced competition from Larbert-based sweet makers Tilly Confectionery and Bonnybridge warehousing service Ecosse Holdings.
Perfect Service Solutions provides specialist deep cleaning services and ventilation solutions for the food and facilities management industries and its high profile clients include catering providers Sodexo and fast food giant McDonald’s.
The firm, which employs 30 staff, marked its 10th birthday on February 15 this year after being founded by Ms Hart Sibbald and her stepfather Eddie Tierney in 2006.
