(May 12, 2017) Dr. Maymunah Yusuf Kadiri popularly referred to as “THE CELEBRITY SHRINK,” is a multiple award winning Mental Health Physician & Advocate.

She is the Medical Director and Psychiatrist – In – Chief at Pinnacle Medical Services, Nigeria’s  leading and foremost Psychology and Mental health clinic prominent in the application of  innovative clinical approaches in the management/treatment of a wide range of psychological,  emotional, and behavioural related disorders.

The founder of Pinnacle Health Radio, Africans #1 online health radio. Also, the founder of a  non for profit organization, “Pinnacle Medicals SPEAKOUT INITIATIVE” which is geared  towards creating awareness on psychological and mental health related problems in Nigeria and  beyond.

As a forerunner in the practice of Mental health, Neurofeedback/Biofeedback therapy and other  novel therapy techniques in Nigeria, she continues to be the most sought after Psychiatrist and  Psychotherapist in Nigeria and beyond.

She is a trained and certified Rational Emotive and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist from Albert  Ellis Institute, New York, and Beck’s Institute for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Philadephia,  USA.

Dr. Maymunah is one of the flag bearers for the 2017 VITAL VOICES MENTORING WALK and a MENTOR for WOMEN IN BUSINESS AND MANAGEMENT (WIMBIZ),  Nigeria. An active member and ROLE MODEL to women in business of WECONNECT Nigeria, CHERIE BLAIR FOUNDATION and GOLDMAN SACHS.  Dr. Maymunah shows passion for her work and has the capacity to infect others with her passion. She is active in various communities, and freely gives her time and talents to benefit people in these communities worldwide.

Dr. Maymunah’s knowledge in the field of psychiatry and psychology also provides her a sound foundation for her teaching practice. She facilitates “School Based Psychological and Mental Health Programmes” in primary/secondary schools in Nigeria as part of her community mental health advocacy activities. She is also involved in “Counseling Skills Training in Adolescent Sexuality and Reproductive Health” and Drug Free Clubs secondary schools and universities

Her driving force is to live, to learn and to impact generations positively.

When not impacting lives through her medical practice, she loves to tour the world, work on  destructive innovations and talk fashion.
