Sabrina Goicoechea

Ms. Goicoechea is SVP Procurement and Sourcing Operations and Analytics responsible for Moody’s global processes and systems to support the selection, contracting, and management of third party providers. She also drives Moody’s Responsible Sourcing strategy working closely with critical suppliers to reduce carbon emissions, increase supplier diversity spend, and ensure Moody’s suppliers are held to standards set forth in our Supplier Code of Conduct and Human Rights Statement. She also manages the Merger and Acquisitions workstream for procurement supporting the integration of newly acquired companies. She leads a global staff of 18.

Prior to her current role, Ms. Goicoechea was VP Sourcing managing an annual spend in excess of $450M across different categories including Professional Services, Staffing, Human Resources, Marketing, and Corporate Services, responsible for developing and implementing global strategic sourcing strategies, partnering with business leaders across the organization to meet their purchasing needs, and conducting contract review and negotiation.

Ms. Goicoechea is passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion. She shows this commitment by serving as co-lead of conectaMos, the Moody’s Latinx/Hispanic inclusion group. She served as co-chair of the NY Multicultural Employee Resource Group from 2017 to 2019, successfully launching conectaMos and the Black Inclusion Group (B.I.G.) and introducing the Active Language Studio, a program that offers Moody’s employees the opportunity to learn or improve their skills to communicate in a particular language.

Prior to joining Moody’s, Ms. Goicoechea worked in several areas at Colgate Palmolive from 2009 to 2015, including direct and indirect procurement, global customer services and logistics, operations and planning, and global supply chain.

Ms. Goicoechea holds an M.B.A., Supply Chain Management from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and a B.S. in industrial engineering from Universidad Simon Bolivar. She is originally from Caracas, Venezuela
