Heather L. Matthews Willoughby

Heather L. Matthews Willoughby is the Human Resources Manager for WEConnect International. In this role, Heather is responsible for creating and leading the human resources function in alignment with WEConnect International’s mission and goals.

Heather has over 20 years of experience managing all aspects of Human Resources including Talent Acquisition, Compliance, Benefits Administration, Employee Relations, Workforce planning and development. She has served in different industries, including healthcare, financial, government contracting, manufacturing, and retail. This experience has contributed to her extensive knowledge in Human Resources and has allowed her to adapt and apply best practices which she will leverage for WEConnect International.  As an HR professional, she prides herself in partnering with team members, to better understand their needs so she can best provide recommendations to support the organization’s success.

Heather holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications and Political Science from Frostburg State University.  She is also a Senior SHRM Certified professional (SHRM-SCP)

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 children, and her dog Pepper.  She enjoys travel with her family, is an avid health advocate, and working with disadvantaged women in her community; helping them discover their potential and a new way of life.
