(March 29, 2017) Congratulations to certified women’s business enterprise MESH Experience — WEConnect International corporate member Delta Air Lines’ “Woman Owned Business Supplier of the Year”! MESH Experienced celebrated the honor with a press release:
MESH Experience is honored to be receiving a diversity award at the 18th annual Delta Air Lines Star Awards event in Atlanta on March 22nd 2017.
The award ceremony recognizes the contributions of its top small-business, minority-owned and women-owned supplier partners at the Delta Flight Museum where Ed Bastian, Delta Air Lines’ CEO, will be speaking.
“We are committed to a supply chain that reflects the wonderful diversity of our customers worldwide,” said Greg May, Senior Vice President – Supply Chain Management and Fleet Operations. “Supplier diversity enables us to partner with smaller companies that bring different ideas and ways of doing things to the table.”
Fiona Blades, who founded MESH Experience over 10 years ago, will be there to accept the ‘Woman Owned Business Supplier of the Year’ award along with the Delta Account Team at MESH, including Catherine Rickwood, Vice President, North America, who has been instrumental in building the Delta relationship over the last five years.
Blades describes what this award means to MESH, “Recognition from Delta for our work not only means a lot to our team but I hope will encourage other clients to give diverse suppliers, like MESH, the opportunity to work with them. The safe choice, isn’t always the best choice for business. In collaboration with our Delta clients we have introduced MESH’s unique Real-time Experience Tracking approach giving Delta a competitive edge when it comes to understanding how people are experiencing Delta and other airline brands.”
