WEConnect International is a corporate-led 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to empowering women business owners to succeed in global markets. We believe that when women start and grow businesses, they not only create jobs and boost the economy but also make positive contributions to their communities. Our mission is to provide women business owners with the knowledge, networks, certification, and platform they need to reach new markets and prosper. Through partnerships with supporting organizations, we identify and certify businesses that are at least 51% owned, managed, and controlled by one or more women.

As a 501c (3) organization, we rely on volunteer support to drive money into the hands of women business owners and achieve our mission. If you are inspired by our vision and purpose, this is a great opportunity to contribute to a diverse environment committed to ensuring a transparent and consistent experience for all. We offer flexibility to accommodate volunteers who work full-time jobs. On average, our volunteers dedicate 10 to 15 hours per week, providing invaluable support, guidance, and expertise.
We Are Proud of Our Learning Culture and Support Year-Round Internship Opportunities
Joining WEConnect International as an intern provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the growing field of women’s economic empowerment and supplier diversity and inclusion. You will work closely with our team, collaborating on various projects related to marketing and communications, member development, fundraising/business development, proposal and grant coordination, and operational administration. Through this internship, you’ll gain valuable insights into the challenges of women’s economic empowerment and our approach to increasing market access for women-owned businesses.
