INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY WOMEN IN BUSINESS BREAKFAST

(March 8, 2016) Corporate Member Accenture in South Africa, in collaboration with WEConnect International, hosted a breakfast for women business owners on International Women’s Day 2016. All the talks given by our exceptional speakers reflected this year’s theme, #GreaterThan.

Our guest speaker Ntombi Manganic, Director for Integrated Marketing and Communications for Accenture spoke about YOU and your BUSINESS as a BRAND; “Branding’ she said, “is about creating an expectation, memories, stories, and relationships.”

Nedra Dickson, the Global Supplier Diversity and Sustainability Lead of Accenture USA, discussed the company’s global partnership with WEConnect International, sharing inspiring personal anecdotes that resonated with the audience.

Zandile Njamela, Accenture, and Sandy Mohonathan, Accenture HR Director for Middle East, Africa, Russia & Turkey, were the animated facilitators of the event, who additionally provided information and success stories from their South Africa supplier diversity programmes.

Jean Chawapiwa, Executive Director of WEConnect International in South Africa, outlined the benefits of WEConnect International with a focus on new certifications.  She also urged attendees to register for the upcoming WEConnect International in South Africa Annual Conference to be held on April 8, 2016 in Johannesburg
