Marketing – The Importance of Marketing Strategies in a Changing World

Date: Tuesday, 04 May 2021
Time: 14:00 – 15:00 (Standard South African Time)

Globally, governments are easing up on COVID-19 restrictions and businesses are beginning to reopen, although this may be taken as an indication that life, in general, will return back to “normal” this will unlikely be the case. For market leaders, the way consumers previously perceived a product/service may have changed due to months of self-isolation, which may in turn force businesses to rethink market strategies going forward.

Understanding marketing in a post-COVID-19 world will be important for businesses to not only retain current customers but also attract new ones. Implementing marketing strategies will require innovative and creative ideas on harnessing traditional and modern forms of marketing. Marketers will need to think hard—and differently—about what the consumer in the next normal will think, feel, say, and do.

In this webinar Evanson Mwaniki will cover the following:

  • Understanding changed consumer behaviour caused by self-isolation
  • Implementing strategic marketing strategies to build lasting relationships with consumers
  • Using different mediums of marketing to reach the right consumer groups
  • Monitoring data and trends in consumer behaviour during COVID-19
