This year WEConnect International in partnership with members and partner organizations is supporting our women-owned businesses to #RiseToTheChallenge. Twenty-twenty-one is unlikely to look like any recent year in history, as we look forward to an uncertain year, we want to ensure you are equipped with additional knowledge on how to strengthen your business strategy to withstand the continued global economic changes. The program will give you access to P&G experts as well as a cohort of other selected women business owners. The final selection of those who will participate will be made by P&G who will be looking at their long-term portfolio and wanting to select women-owned businesses they can add to their supply chain.
WEConnect International has again partnered with P&G to host the fourth South Africa Business Development Program for 2021. A unique program that will give selected women business owners direct access to the P&G executive team as the facilitators of the business training modules. The selected modules will aim to allow for the executive team to be able to share business content along with expertise and experience from their portfolios and careers – helping women-owned businesses to revisit their business strategies geared to success in difficult business environments.
After receiving an overwhelming response of 92 applicants, P&G South Africa has selected 25 women-owned business to participate in the 2021 virtual programme.
