2017 ENTERPRISING WOMEN OF THE YEAR AWARD NOMINATIONS OPEN OCT. 1

Enterprising Women magazine has announced that nominations for the 2017 Enterprising Women of the Year Award will open on October 1, 2016 on the magazine’s website:www.enterprisingwomen.com. Visit the magazine’s home page and click on the link to submit your nomination. The deadline for submitting a nomination is November 1, 2016 at midnight.

Considered one of the most prestigious recognition programs for outstanding women entrepreneurs, the Enterprising Women of the Year Award recognizes outstanding women business owners from North America and around the globe. Award winners are recognized for building financially successful, thriving businesses; exhibiting leadership at the local, state, national or international level; and mentoring and giving back to support other women in business. Last year seven WEConnect International certified women business owners made the list.

Winners will be recognized at the 15th Annual Enterprising Women of the Year Awards Celebration and Conference, April 2-4 at The Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale, Florida culminating with the Gala Awards Dinner on the evening of April 4. The event also includes the annual Hall of Fame Luncheon to recognize two outstanding women entrepreneurs who will be inducted into the Enterprising Women Hall of Fame.

A full schedule of workshops will be offered on April 3, including a track for international attendees.

The event also includes the annual meeting for the Enterprising Women Advisory Board, a 170+ member board of outstanding women entrepreneurs, leaders of the major non-profit organizations that support women’s entrepreneurship, and top corporate representatives. The event provides an outstanding opportunity to network with the prestigious members of the Enterprising Women Advisory Board and award honorees.
