(September 7, 2017) WEConnect International is pleased to announce the expansion of WEConnect India with the addition of Krithika Ram as Program Manager.
Krithika brings over 10 years of experience in the private and non-profit sectors, including leading the NGO Credibility and Engagement Team at Charities Aid Foundation India. In previous roles, she worked to strengthen and execute corporate social responsibility initiatives in companies such as Ramky Group, L&T Infotech, and Icreon Tech. She earned her MA in International Studies from Stella Maris College.
As the Program Manager in India, she will be actively working on growing and strengthening WEConnect India’s women owned business network, including organizing meet the buyer events. She is also looking forward to forging fruitful partnerships with companies, government agencies, and other stakeholders to help Indian women’s businesses thrive and contribute to economic growth. Krithika says she is “both excited and humbled to join the WEConnect International family.”
WEConnect International helps women-owned businesses succeed in global value chains. It identifies, educates, registers, and certifies women’s business enterprises based outside of the U.S. that are at least 51% owned, managed, and controlled by one or more women, and then connects them with qualified buyers.
