Farida Gibbs, CEO of Gibbs S3 and one our certified WBEs, is a finalist in the “Business Woman of the Year” category at the British Muslim Awards 2013. This entry is based on votes from the public as part of a three month campaign operating and encouraging people to send in their votes.
What a great start to the year! I was privileged enough to win Entrepreneur of the Year at the RBS Asian Women of Achievements Awards in May 2012, and now this. Honestly I am blessed, I feel extremely humbled to have made the finals and I am up against some very talented women in my category. I sincerely hope my journey will inspire and encourage other women to take a leap of faith as I did and have some self-belief.

The Sheridan Suites in Manchester will play host to the first annual British Muslim Awards on the 29th of January 2013. This will be an evening of recognition and celebration, reflecting the significant role that Muslims individuals, groups and businesses play in contributing to a better Great Britain. A wide range of achievements which cover various aspects including business, charity, sport, arts and culture. For the first awards just under 10,000 nominations were received from all sorts of achievers around the country.
