REDWOOD CLASSICS APPAREL USES ONLINE SALES TO GIVE BACK TO WOMEN-OWNED COMMUNITY

WEConnect International is proud to partner with certified women’s business enterprise Redwood Classics Apparel to support women entrepreneurs around the globe. Utilizing the #PayItForwardFriday call-to-action, Redwood Classics is committing to donate 10% of online sales profits to WEConnect International every Friday leading up to International Women’s Day on March 8th, 2019.

While women make or influence the vast majority of purchasing decisions, women-owned businesses are continually underrepresented in global value chains.  Today, women continue to earn, on average, less than one percent of the trillions of dollars spent on global procurement. WEConnect International’s network of certified and self-registered women-owned businesses are working to change that by championing a global movement to put more money into the hands of women.
