As a critical thinker and data analyst, Desiree takes pride in driving positive organizational outcomes through her strategic planning, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and ethical behavior. Her expertise in critical metrics-based strategic planning, total rewards, business operations, employee relations, recruiting, compliance, and benefits program administration makes her a valuable asset to our organization.
Desiree’s approach to human resources reflects her commitment to supporting the organization’s mission and vision while fostering a positive culture. She continually strives to enhance her skills and stay current with the latest trends in her field, as evidenced by her professional certifications, including a Six Sigma Black Belt and Organizational Change Management certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI)®, and various certificates in Strategic Human Resources from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)®. Her Bachelor of Science in Management Studies coursework from the University of Maryland, with a concentration in Human Resources Management, complements her professional expertise.
Desiree is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management, the Washington Area Total Rewards Association, Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, and Sigma Alpha Pi. In her free time, she volunteers in her community and supports initiatives that make a positive global impact.
