MICROSOFT SHARES BEST PRACTICES WITH CERTIFIED WOMEN BUSINESS OWNERS IN TURKEY

WEConnect International corporate member, Microsoft, hosted a half-day session for nearly 20 WEConnect International certified women’s business enterprises in İstanbul May 7th., 2019.

The Microsoft team shared insights into their procurement processes and how their procurement team and Women Leaders group supports supplier diversity in Turkey. Women business owners were given the opportunity to ask questions about how best to supply to Microsoft and what categories they are sourcing in Turkey.

Microsoft invited representatives from other corporations to attend, as well. These member partners came to learn about supplier diversity in Turkey and to understand what types of businesses are in the WEConnect International network.
