La French Tech Grand Paris and WEConnect International Join Forces to Drive Women’s Economic Empowerment and Supplier Diversity and Inclusion

La French Tech Grand Paris and WEConnect International, a global non-profit organization that connects women-owned businesses to global markets, have announced a partnership to promote supplier diversity and inclusion. The partnership aims to drive women’s economic empowerment and supplier diversity and inclusion by acting as a catalyst for impact by bringing more women-owned businesses into global supply chains.

The partnership between La French Tech Grand Paris and WEConnect International is a reflection of the commitment to promoting women-owned businesses and creating an environment where women-owned businesses have access to the same opportunities as their male counterparts. The partnership with WEConnect International will enable La French Tech Grand Paris to further its mission by helping women-owned businesses to access global markets and increase their purchasing power.

In addition to the partnership, WEConnect International has also announced the appointment of Jerome Flint as the Regional Director for Europe and MENA regions. In this role, Mr. Flint will be responsible for driving the organization’s impact in the region, increasing supplier diversity and inclusion, and creating opportunities for women-owned businesses to access global markets.

“At WEConnect International, we are committed to promoting women-owned businesses and connecting them with the global markets. Our partnership with La French Tech Grand Paris is an important step in that direction,” said Mr. Flint.

The partnership between La French Tech Grand Paris and WEConnect International will also include an Exclusive Insider Roundtable Event to discuss the challenges and opportunities for women-owned businesses in the region. The event will bring together experts from the corporate, public, and non-profit sectors to discuss the importance of buying from women-owned businesses and how to create an environment where women-owned businesses have access to the same opportunities as men.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with La French Tech Grand Paris to promote supplier diversity and inclusion and help women-owned businesses to access global markets,” said Elizabeth Vazquez, CEO, and co-founder of WEConnect International, and co-author of the book “Buying for Impact: How to Buy from Women and Change Our World,” and a global leader in women’s economic empowerment and supplier diversity and inclusion. “We believe that by leveraging the purchasing power of corporations, multilateral institutions and governments, we can increase the value chain and create an environment where women-owned businesses can thrive.”
