Claire Mason, Founder and Managing Director of B2B PR consultancy Man Bites Dog, has won a ‘2010 Young Gun’ award for her contribution to British business. Mason joins 30 outstanding young entrepreneurs in receiving the prestigious award from Growing Business magazine this year and is one of just a handful of PR professionals to appear in the alumni.
Credited as one of Management Today’s ‘35 Under 35’ leading business women, Mason said: “It is a great honour to be recognised as a ‘Young Gun’, and to join this list of illustrious entrepreneurs. I set up Man Bites Dog because I strongly believed that there was a gap in the market for a PR consultancy specialising in PR for the service economy. Five years on, I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved as an agency. I think that our success is down to a clear, shared vision and the entrepreneurial ambition of the whole team.
Man Bites Dog, which specialises in communications and thought leadership for the service economy, has recently won several new clients, including a six-figure contract to handle the UK B2B PR brief for international directories business Yell.
Agency accolades include PR Week’s New Consultancy of the Year, B2B Marketing magazine’s PR Agency of the Year and a host of campaign awards.
