The WBE Council would like to invite you to attend our first WBE Day that is taking place on Friday 22nd September 2017 at Roche in Welwyn Garden City – please save the date in your diaries!

This is a new initiative solely for our certified WBEs and the WBE Council and we hope you will be interested in coming along!

It’s an opportunity for our WBEs to get to know each other and to understand more about each other’s businesses. As the network of WBEs expands, there’s increased opportunity to work with each other and to use each other’s services and so we’d like to raise awareness of these opportunities within the network of our certified women-owned businesses.

The agenda for the day is being finalised and will include discussions on topics such as challenges faced by WBEs when winning business from corporates; sharing lessons learned from WBEs who have won business; sharing case studies, stats, referrals and connections; understanding more about what corporates want/look for from suppliers and also looking at what else WEConnect International could do to add value for the WBEs.

We would really love to see as many of you there as possible. It will be a very valuable experience for us all and one which will help us forge new partners, learn new things and understand how we can all benefit from being part of WEConnect International.
