CYNTHIA SPRAGGS NAMED AMONG PHOTO CONTEST FINALISTS

(June 20, 2017) On June 19 in Las Vegas, WEConnect International hosted more than 200 corporate representatives, women business owners, partners and other champions of women’s economic empowerment. During the evening reception, Elizabeth A. Vazquez, CEO and Co-Founder of WEConnect International, announced the top five winners of the first ever WEConnect International photo contest for women business owners.

Among the five finalists was Cynthia Spraggs, CEO of certified women’s business enterprise Sales Beacon, based in Nova Scotia. Sales Beacon’s focus is on global complex enterprise sales and project management, where they provide cost effective solutions driving sales team efficiency. They  have virtual teams in North America and Europe covering all time zones, increasing bottom-line profitability and driving incremental revenue growth.

Cynthia’s photo – Working at 17,600 feet! Cynthia Spraggs, CEO of Sales Beacon at Everest Base Camp – was a favorite among the WEConnect International team because it demonstrates that value of work life balance and that our women business owners can surmount and conquer any challenge ahead of them.

The competition isn’t over yet, though!

Now through December 31, 2017, the general public can vote for the finalists’ photos – including Cynthia’s – by making an online donation. In January 2018, two winners will be notified – the one that receives the most individual donations and one that receives the most donated funds overall.  Both will win a free ticket to WEConnect International Day 2018 in Detroit!
