BUILDING YOUR BUSINESS – PLANNING YOUR FUTURE

On the 5th March 2015, WEConnect International hosted ‘Building Your Business – Planning Your Future’ with corporate member Accenture at Aegon’s offices in The Hague. The three organizations joined forces to bring together an interesting and inspiring afternoon for female entrepreneurs in The Netherlands.

Catherine Collinson, President of the Transamerica Center for Retirement Studies, shared the results of Aegon’s recent study: ‘Women; balancing family, career and financial security’. See her slides. Vera Hek-Weghorst, from Aegon’s advisory group, Adfis, talked about the Dutch pension market and the options open to entrepreneurs. See her slides.

The second part of the afternoon featured a talk from successful female entrepreneur Annemarie van Gaal and a panel discussion with other Dutch female entrepreneurs who have fantastic track records of supporting others in becoming successful.
