Elevate Program Overview

The Elevate Program’s goal is to generate long-term business opportunities for women business owners to connect and conduct business with global buyers, including:

1. Introducing you to the Pharmaceutical and Crop Science Industries, as well as key Sustainability concepts that guide corporate processes and policies, especially as they relate to procurement.

2. Identifying actions that diverse suppliers should be looking to implement to become, or remain, competitive in the global market chains.

3. Leveraging the internal expertise and resources of Bayer to promote the implementation of key business principles within your own organization.

Program Dates

The Elevate Program will start in April 2024 and conclude in October 2024

• Program Communication, Outreach, and Participant Selection (30 WOBs) – March 2024

• Live Virtual Training – 3 Modules – April 2024

• Video Pitch Submission – 1 per WOB – early May 2024

• Select 15 WOB Mentees and Match with Bayer Mentors – mid May 2024

• Mentoring Sessions – end of May – September 2024

• Closing Event – September/October 2024 (TBD)

Live Virtual Training

In April 2024, the Elevate Program will deliver three live training deliveries with Bayer leadership as key participants to 30 select WOBs.

• Module 1: The Pharmaceutical and Crop Science Industry (Week of April 15)

• Module 2: ESG Strategies (Week of April 22)

• Module 3: Building Your Value Proposition (Week of April 29)

• Submission of 3-Minute Video Pitch (Week of May 6)

What You Will Get (if selected)

• 15 WOBs to get executive mentoring by Bayer leadership

• Insights into internal perspectives and sourcing processes

• Improvement of value proposition and identification of competitive differentiators

• Networking opportunities that build strong relationships

• Navigating challenges and adapting to change

Who Should Apply

The Elevate Program will target high-potential women business owners in Germany and Switzerland.  The project will focus on women business owners that are:

• Based in Germany or Switzerland

• Owners of businesses that are at least 51% owned, managed, and controlled by a woman or women

• Registered or certified with WEConnect International (or willing to be)

• Engaged in diverse industries including, but not limited to: Technical Goods and Services, IT Services, Raw Materials, R&D Services,

• Transportation and Warehousing, HR, Legal and Marketing Services, Professional Services, and other relevant sectors to Bayer’s supply chain
