The 2nd edition of Bayer’s Diversity Supplier Mentorship Program – which aims to strengthen small and medium-sized minority companies, promoting business development and opportunities, expanding relationships, enhancing business and market knowledge, and leveraging competitiveness – came to an end and had its graduation ceremony on October 17th, 2018.
The event was attended by all those involved in the program: diverse companies, mentors and coaches, who were recognized for their participation. Natalia Torres, WEConnect International’s Regional Corporate and Partner Engagement Manager for Latin America, spoke at the event to emphasize the role of the private sector in creating a more equitable, diverse, and just society that achieves the sustainable development goals.
At the end of the program, the companies participants showed important improvements in their business, such as: 26% growth in revenues, 100% structured strategic plans, 47% increase in business opportunities, 100% increase in the number of clients, % in Sustainability and Diversity initiatives, among others.
All these results are proof that Diversity generates transformation, which translates itself into ideas, products and business!
