Stephanie Gross builds ecosystems. Communities where people connect, share knowledge, and grow stronger together. As a connector and experienced business leader, she has spent two decades developing the people, relationships, and partnerships that allow organizations to thrive.
Her approach to leadership is straightforward: “train yourself out of a job.” Strong leaders share knowledge generously and create opportunities for others to take ownership and step into leadership themselves. That philosophy has shaped every role she’s held — across human resources, operations, business development, and entrepreneurship.
Stephanie is the founder and CEO of Bumby Wool, a Canadian manufacturing company serving customers across six continents. Running a globally-active small business has given her direct, firsthand insight into what women entrepreneurs actually need: meaningful access to markets, knowledgeable networks, and relationships with buyers who value capable, innovative suppliers.
Global thinking has been part of Stephanie’s life from the beginning. Born in New Zealand to Canadian and British parents, she has lived in New Zealand, Canada, and Costa Rica, ultimately returning to Canada to raise her family. That perspective continues to shape her belief that geography should not limit opportunity or collaboration.
When she discovered WEConnect International, she recognized the ecosystem she’d been working toward her whole career; a global community where connection and collaboration aren’t nice-to-haves, they’re the whole point. She’s exactly where she belongs.
