Stephanie Gross is focused on building stronger connections between women owned businesses in North America and the global opportunities that can help them grow.

At WEConnect International, Stephanie brings together her experience as an entrepreneur, business leader, and community builder to help strengthen the ecosystem around women owned businesses. Her work is centered on creating meaningful connections between women entrepreneurs, corporate buyers, and networks by opening doors to markets, relationships, and opportunities that can accelerate growth.

Stephanie knows firsthand why those connections matter. She is the founder and CEO of Bumby Wool, a Canadian manufacturing company serving customers across six continents. As a woman entrepreneur building and growing a globally active business, she has experienced both the opportunities and challenges that come with entering new markets, developing buyer relationships, and building a business across borders.

That experience informs how she approaches her work at WEConnect International. Stephanie believes women entrepreneurs bring enormous capability, innovation, and value to global supply chains and that the ecosystem needs to make it easier for them to be seen, connected, and included.

A natural connector, Stephanie has spent two decades developing people, partnerships, and communities across human resources, operations, business development, and entrepreneurship. Her leadership philosophy is simple: “train yourself out of a job.” She believes in sharing knowledge generously, creating opportunities for others to take ownership, and building networks that become stronger as more people contribute.

Her global perspective is personal. Born in New Zealand to Canadian and British parents, Stephanie has lived in New Zealand, Canada, and Costa Rica before returning to Canada to raise her family. Those experiences shaped her belief that geography should not limit opportunity and that some of the most valuable possibilities emerge when people, businesses, and cultures connect across borders.
