MAN BITES DOG BOOSTS B2B TECHNOLOGY TEAM

Service economy PR specialist Man Bites Dog www.manbitesdog.biz (link is external) has extended its award-winning technology and digital media team with a number of new hires. Mark de Wolf joins Man Bites Dog as Board Director from Ketchum Pleon. As a former business journalist and leader of Ketchum Pleon’s European technology practice, de Wolf brings an extensive track record in technology and B2B communications. His previous clients include Oracle, IBM and Nokia Siemens Networks; and regional roles directing the European coordination remits for LogicaCMG and Cisco. In addition to leading Man Bites Dog’s technology team, de Wolf will be responsible for new business development in the IT services, outsourcing and telecoms sectors.

Man Bites Dog’s B2B technology experience is further enhanced with two recent recruits – technology and outsourcing specialist Toby Brown, who joins as Account Manager from Buffalo Communications; and Senior Account Executive Clare Granville who joins from tech specialists ITPR.

Man Bites Dog also welcomes Senior Account Executive Martin McGourty from Dublin-based Pembroke Communications and sees Account Director Vic Miller promoted to Operations Director. Miller will focus on client services and brand strategy.

These new hires are a result of solid growth through the recession and follow a string of six-figure client wins for Man Bites Dog, including its appointment by KPMG to handle PR for its Performance and Technology consultancy arm in the UK, as well as the brief to handle the UK B2B PR for international directories business Yell.
