WEConnect International earned national recognition today by having our remarkable President,CEO and Co-Founder, Elizabeth A. Vazquez, featured as one of Forbes’ “50 Over 50” exceptional women who are leading the charge for impact and a better world. This well-deserved recognition is based on Elizabeth’s significant impact on the global business landscape and her work to promote inclusion and gender equality.

Since its inception in 2009, WEConnect International has played a pivotal role in training and certifying women-owned businesses and bridging the gap between these suppliers and very large corporate, government and multilateral buyers. Under Elizabeth’s exemplary leadership, WEConnect International has achieved remarkable milestones and is in the top 3% of public charities by revenue. “I am deeply honored to be recognized on the Forbes List of 50 Over 50 for Impact,” expressed Elizabeth A. Vazquez. “Empowering women as business owners and promoting gender equality has always been at the heart of WEConnect International’s mission. This recognition reinforces our collective dedication to creating a more inclusive and equitable global economy.”

Elizabeth’s influence extends beyond the largest corporations in the world, as she also actively educates multilateral institutions and governments on how to leverage their purchasing power and implement policies for inclusive economic growth. She is a valued member of the G20’s B20 for business and the W20 for women, lending her expertise to key discussions on inclusive trade policy and the role of women, and will serve as a speaker and member delegate at the 2023 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Senior Officials’ and Ministerial Meetings.
