DR. IBILOLA AMAO SELECTED AS MENTEE FOR VITAL VOICES 2017 GLOBAL AMBASSADORS PROGRAM

Congratulations to Dr. Ibilola Amao, founder of certified women’s business enterprise Lonadek Limited! She has been selected as a mentee for the Vital Voices 2017 Global Ambassadors Program (GAP) to be held in Charlotte, NC, May 8-12, 2017. GAP connects women leaders (mentees) — at a tipping point in their professional, business and leadership paths — with established women executives (Global Ambassadors or mentors) for mentorship. Vital Voices takes an innovative, immersive approach to mentoring in regions around the world; offering in-person exchanges, business acumen and skills training, networking and personal development workshops.

In October 2016, Dr. Amao was selected to participate in the Vital Voices 100 Retreat held on October 10-15 in California. Through the Innovation Partnerships Initiative, Vital Voices partners with a select group of 100 of the most engaged and visionary members of the Vital Voices Global Leadership Network to develop tailored support to enable them to achieve their bold and innovative visions for changing their communities and countries. For the first time in Vital Voices’ history, they convened the most exceptional 100 women in their network through a strategic partnership with WEConnect International Corporate Member Johnson & Johnson. The four-day program included. individualized capacity building, including Johnson & Johnson’s Human Performance Institute; sharing of best practices across the network and problem-solving among network peers; and partnering with Vital Voices to galvanize the larger Global Leadership Network.
