3RD ANNUAL WECONNECT INTERNATIONAL CHINA MARKETPLACE

On November 13, 2014, leading corporations, women entrepreneurs, government representatives, and local women’s organizations met in Beijing for a one day event featuring a marketplace of women-owned businesses and corporate booths, a number of workshops, and matchmaker meetings. The focus of the Marketplace is business development for women business owners and promoting best practices for the corporations interested in supporting them.

The Marketplace enabled women entrepreneurs to showcase their goods and services, learn more about building capacity for their businesses through WEConnect Academy training modules, and connect directly with multinational corporate buyers at “Matchmaker” meetings.

The 3rd Annual China Marketplace was sponsored by Walmart, Artistry Forward Beauty, IBM, Accenture, Hawaiian Airlines, Lafayette 148, and Microsoft.
