Council on Scaling Women-Owned Businesses

The Council on Scaling Women-Owned Business is a group of subject matter experts who dedicate their time to build a global strategy to address the linkages between access to markets and access to capital. The Council published “How to Rebuild Global Business for Good”, a special report underwritten by Moody’s Corporation and TD Bank Group and led by WEConnect International. The report identifies a key insight into the ecosystem of support for women business owners and outlines a global strategy to support inclusive economic growth during and after COVID-19 by leveraging the power of women-owned businesses as innovators and job creators.

Moody’s Foundation: Reshape Tomorrow

WEConnect International and the Moody’s Foundation have joined forces to address two critical challenges to growth faced by women-owned businesses—access to markets and access to finance. Our partnership looks to bridge these gaps with immediate resources to empower women entrepreneurs through mastery of financial skills. As partners, we are thrilled to offer free, expert-level training programs on creditworthiness to women business owners, providing them with the expertise and confidence they need to expand and increase the size of their operations on their own terms.
