Nicolas Picard is the Research and Project Manager for WEConnect International. In this role, he manages research projects in coordination with corporate members and leads initiatives to engage women entrepreneurs in WEConnect International countries of operation.
Nicolas previously worked in contracts and project management at Opower, an energy efficiency software company in San Francisco. He also worked at a governance nonprofit called The Asia Foundation, managing research projects and in-country programs focusing on women’s entrepreneurship, trade and business environments, and information and communication technologies.
Born in France, Nicolas is an avid world traveler and volunteer. He holds a master’s degree in policy analysis and management from the Heinz College of Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University, and a bachelor’s degree in International Development Studies from McGill University.
