Emily Coccia is the Vice President of Special Projects for WEConnect International. In this role, Emily works to ensure the efficient and effective management, growth and impact of the organization. She is a thought leader in engineering strategic giving programs and cause campaigns, and leads this and the development of external partnerships for WEConnect International.
A successful nonprofit strategist and executive with more than 15 years of experience, Emily’s passion lies in bringing together non-profits, for-profits and individuals through events, art, business development and strategic partnerships in order to build capacity and empower communities around the world.
Through her work at Good360, an international NGO responsible for connecting large corporations with excess products to organizations and schools in need, Emily engineered and implemented custom sustainability and corporate social responsibility programs for Fortune 500 companies such as Tempur-Pedic, Walmart, JPMorgan Chase, Nike, 3M, Bed Bath & Beyond and the Home Depot.
Emily’s experience working in and with a variety of sectors brings a vast knowledge of global supply chains, marketing, event planning, nonprofit management, account direction and operations to the organization. In addition to this, she founded PWG-DC a professional women’s group in Washington, DC, to support the community through peer mentorship and serves as Chair of the Communications Committee and on the Board of Directors for Child and Family Network Centers, providing access to quality preschool for vulnerable communities in Alexandria, VA.
