After years of experience in a family-run promotional products company, Annalise Law left to search for new business opportunities. One came from an unexpected source: the very industry she had left. Despite the fact that Annalise had “no intention of going back into the promotional products industry,” she began to receive calls from former clients asking when she was going to return.

In response to these requests, she created The Kanga Group (TKG) in 2005, which supplies to 23 countries around the world, and has become a leading promotional product company in Australia. She prides herself on being a diverse supplier that focuses on sustainable sourcing. When she learned about WEConnect International, Annalise knew that she could “show that we truly fulfill the criteria as a women-owned and managed business.”

While attending a WEConnect International event, TKG was able to meet with the Head of Procurement for Accenture Australia and New Zealand, where the company offered them the opportunity to be a part of their future promotional merchandise agency. As Annalise states, WEConnect International gave them “a foot in the door,” with the partnership, as well as the chance to share experiences with other women-owned businesses. TKG also had the opportunity to network with other corporations who share their values of supplier diversity and sustainable sourcing.

Annalise is looking forward to the new opportunities that Accenture has given TKG, along with her existing corporate partnerships and the new connections made through WEConnect International.
