(September 7, 2016) During WEConnect International Day 2016 in Orlando, Florida, Executive Director of WEConnect International in Canada Astrid Pregel gave a short video interview about International Day and the value of the WEConnect International network. Astrid says WEConnect International provides women business owners with "red carpet access to network and connect with a huge market."

(September 5, 2016) Huiping Zhang, President and Founder of Ottawa-based and WEConnect International certified wintraslation, made some time for a short interview during WEConnect International Day 2016 in Orlando, Florida in June 2016. In her interview she says that WEConnect International certification is "an added advantage to any woman who owns a business" and that "it makes really good business sense." Huiping also stresses the importance of buying from women-owned businesses in reach true gender equality.
