Tanya HeadshotHow long have you been in business and why did you start?

Walker Law has been in business since 2010. This year we celebrated our tenth-year anniversary. When I first started to practice law, I started working at two Bay Street firms and opened Walker Law on Bay Street when I was in my fourth year of practice. We eventually moved from Bay Street to Yonge Street in downtown Toronto when we ran out of space.

CucinaThis month we connected with Pina Romolo, of Piccola Cucina.

How long have you been in business and why did you start?

We've been in business for 10 years and started Piccola Cucina when both my mom and I were laid off from our jobs.  I was working in the corporate sector in Calgary at the time, in the Voice over Internet Protocol space.  I knew I would always be in business, I just never really knew in what capacity; the business found me, so to speak.
