WEConnect International is the only non-profit connecting women-owned businesses with multi-national corporate purchasing organizations outside of the United States.

¿QUÉ ES WECONNECT INTERNATIONAL?

WEConnect International es la única iniciativa en su tipo que trabaja con corporaciones transnacionales y organizaciones multilaterales que desean diversificar su cadena de valor incluyendo productos y servicios de empresas pertenecientes a mujeres en todo el mundo. WEConnect International identifica, capacita, registra y certifica a empresas pertenecientes a mujeres ubicadas fuera de los Estados Unidos que pertenecen y están administradas y controladas por lo menos en un 51% por una o más mujeres, y las vincula con compradores corporativos calificados.

Mediante valiosas oportunidades de capacitación y vinculación, WEConnect International promueve relaciones comerciales, crecimiento económico, eleva el perfil de empresas pertenecientes a mujeres y apoya el fortalecimiento de programas de diversidad e inclusión de proveedores de sus miembros corporativos. WEConnect International opera en todos los continentes y ofrece certificación en países que en conjunto representan más de la mitad de la población mundial.

At the December 2017 World Trade Organization (WTO) Ministerial Conference in Buenos Aires, 118 WTO members joined forces to sign the Declaration on Trade and Women's Economic Empowerment. Signatories agreed to work together to develop best practices on how to apply gender-based analysis to domestic economic policy and international trade policy to encourage female entrepreneurship and financial inclusion, remove barriers to women's participation in trade, and develop useful gender statistics and research.

ComunicarMaría Elena Cruces is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Comunicar, a professional translation and interpretation service company based in Mexico. Ten years after starting her own personal business in 1990, María Elena officially established Comunicar as a formal corporate entity to keep up with growing demands for quality work in the linguistics service industry. After receiving certification from WEConnect International in 2016, Comunicar has confirmed supplier contracts from several, prominent multi-national corporations including AT&T, DuPont, and ExxonMobil.
