Based on over four years research into companies who are successfully breaking through traditional business models, Karin will share case studies of some of the most amazing companies in the world.

In this special presentation, you will learn:

sweeney charlotte(April 26, 2017) Charlotte Sweeney OBE, author and founder of Charlotte Sweeney Associates, a WEConnect International certified women-owned business, launched the 'Creating Inclusive Cultures' Junior Board last month, with fifteen 14-15 year old students selected to experience working with board level leaders within high profile organisations including DWF, Pinsent Masons and Direct Line. The pilot programme, launched initially in Leeds in partnership with non-profit social enterprise Ahead Partnership, is part of Sweeney's 'Creating Inclusive Cultures' initiative.

Spark 21(April 23, 2017) SPARK21, the parent charity to the First 100 Years project set up by Obelisk, a WEConnect International certified women-owned business, has participated for the last 9 months in a campaign for a first statue to a woman to be placed in Parliament Square.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan, who has backed the campaign from the outset, announced that Turner Prize winner Gillian Wearing has been commissioned to create the artwork. Gillian Wearing will be the first woman to create a statue for Parliament Square. The campaigning working group, which included Spark21, selected suffragist leader Millicent Fawcett to be the first female statue in the square when unveiled in 2018.
