Rigmor Berthier, Hui Ting Lee, and Cecile Gauthier decided to found Lime Agency after working well together at a previous agency with “the kind of dynamic that makes you happy to go to work in the morning.” They decided to combine their knowledge and experience in marketing, communication, and advertising to create their own consulting and design agency in 2015.
Since then, Lime Agency has grown both in their client diversity and the services they offer, which range from web design and development to branding workshops. They strongly believe in working equally with NGOs, like the Singapore Committee for UN Women, and larger corporations, including Johnson & Johnson, AXA, and many more.
The three women believe that activism is “part of our DNA,” which inspired them to get certified through WEConnect International, and work towards equality by helping businesses build their brands and creating a purpose for them. They state that “being female entrepreneurs, we are painfully aware of the challenges that women-owned business can face and, to us, being part of this conversation was essential, not only for us but also for future generations of women.”
Due to their success in transforming and redesigning cosmetic brands, a client recommended Lime Agency to Johnson & Johnson. The corporation instantly connected with the agency’s strategy of “client-specific marketing analysis” and design research. In the past two years, they have worked on promoting and developing Johnson & Johnson’s brand, as well as consulting as the brand continues to grow. The partnership has helped Lime Agency grow by 30% in the first year of collaboration, and 40% in the second.
In addition to helping the agency gain visibility, WEConnect International has helped Lime Agency network with corporations and provide “high-value training.” They hope that WEConnect International can further help them to access larger market opportunities and new vendors. They are currently in contact with Johnson & Johnson’s procurement services to make that a reality. Through the launch of a new website and a “full range of new services” that focus on clients’ needs, Lime Agency is looking to increase their efficiency in a digital world, and support more social enterprises.
