OLAYEBI OBAFEMI(March 31, 2017) Marsha Firestone, Founder and President of the Womens' President Organization, announced Femi Olayebi as the co-winner of the Best Mentor and Role Model Award at the inaugural WEConnect International Gala on March 30 in Washington, DC. She shares the honor with Dana Denis-Smith of the UK. The Best Mentor and Role Model Award recognizes WEConnect International certified women business owners that have not only developed successful businesses, but have also helped those around them do the same. Shade Ladipo, Director for WEConnect International in Nigeria, accepted the award on Femi's behalf.

As part of activities to commemorate the International Women’s Day 2017, the 100 Most Inspiring Women List presented by Leading Ladies Africa and was unveiled on March 8, 2017. In honor of great strides and commendable impact, Executive Director of WEConnect International in Nigeria Shade Ladipo has been selected as one of the 100 Most Inspiring Women in Nigeria. She will be presented with a certificate at the 100 Women Gala on Thursday, March 30, 2017, at the Wheatbaker Hotel Ikoyi, Lagos.
