Saritha Venumbaka is the Vice President of Operations for WEConnect International. In this role, Saritha leads the organization in overseeing day-to-day operations while identifying creative services and solutions to enable the expansion of WEConnect International's global footprint and impact. She is a thought leader in implementing strategic systems to ensure operational excellence.

Saritha brings a wide breadth of operational expertise to the organization including management consulting experience in solving complex problems, reengineering processes, and facilitating organizational effectiveness

Most recently, she served as an advisor to the Corporate Procurement Division at the African Development Bank where she was responsible for the development and implementation of the division’s strategic plan. She also served as the Chief of Corporate Procurement for the Inter-American Development Bank, where she oversaw policy and processes for $175 M procurement spend across the LAC region. Before joining the International Financial Institutions, she worked with Booz Allen Hamilton, as a management consulting, leading global transformation projects.

Saritha earned her Masters in Science from Johns Hopkins University, holds an MBA in Project Management from Wright State University, a Masters in Commerce from Osmania University and a Bachelors in Commerce from Osmania University.  She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Project Management Professional (PMP) and is Certified in Supplier Diversity (CPSD) and Supply Management (CPSM) from the Institute of Supply Management.

She enjoys taking long walks in the woods, reading world affairs, listening to Bloomberg and traveling the world with her family.
